The re-branding of this company started in the kitchen. Sol is a locally owned restaurant in the Savannah area that serves all organic locally grown food.  From pomegranate sangria to southwestern style fish tacos this restaurant has a flair like no other. I wanted to focus on the  fact that all of the food was local and fresh so I drew my inspiration from seed packets and botanical images of fruits and vegetables.

To add some spice, I traced the images and gave them a pop of vibrant color.

Things started getting pretty crazy with overlapping the colored images. We went through a few rounds of proofs….

before deciding on a set design for business cards and a logo.

Sol’s owner decided to go with mini cards, printed on Neenah desert storm sustainable paper, and the logo adapted from the head of lettuce. We then applied the re-branding to various merchandise.
